Web Developer Needed

Update: This position has been filled. Thank you for your interest.

If you've been reading this blog for some time, this subject title might seem familiar. Back then, my client was looking for a developer to work on his application. Through a series of events, I ended up becoming that developer (I had originally only planned to do the design and front-end). Things have been moving along and now I'd like to bring someone else onboard to help out with development. So, this time I am looking for a web developer.

This is full-time work doing PHP, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript primarily. Having a thirst for knowledge is definitely important. If you like to get your hands dirty with JSON and XML and RSS then we'll get along swimmingly. And don't think of this as just a short-term project. This is for the long haul and a steady paycheque. You'll be employee #2 (technically, I'm the first employee). You don't have to be in Ottawa, but it certainly would be handy.

So, if you or anyone you know has the skillset I'm looking for, please get in touch. I'd love to chat further about all the nitty-gritty details. You can send your resume to jonathan at snook dot ca.

Please don't post your personal information in the comments. Best to email me the info.

Update: This position has been filled. Thank you for your interest.

Man, I wish I could join on. I have the skills, background, passion and motivation, but... have 1 more year of college and that is first on my priority list. If you still have the job in a year, let me know.

But really, good luck with the design, and if you have anything little that you need help with, look me up.

Hah, I'm in the same boat as Jeremy!

What's the subject matter of the project?

Tim: It is an e-learning application for English360. Some pretty neat stuff (well, I like to think so ;) ).

Good luck on finding a partner in crime!

If only I lived on "the other side of the Atlantic" ...
