La Fiesta Latina

La Fiesta is on the north side of Somerset near Bay, just a couple doors down from Art House coffee. The menu reminded me of Fiesta & Tequila and I decided to order the same tacos: pastor, chicken con mole negro, and cactus.

The pastor, not made on a trompo, was moist and flavourful and the table salsa verde was good, providing a nice brightness to the taco.

The chicken con mole negro was really good and I enjoyed it more than the one at Fiesta & Tequila for two reasons. The mole had a nice sweetness that there was enough rice that it didn't disappear. I would definitely recommend getting this when you're there.

I had the cactus one last and there were too many onions. It overwhelmed the cactus and made for a disappointing taco that I didn't bother to finish.
